About Us

Incorporated in 1984, Nepean Housing Corporation (NHC)  builds and maintains affordable rental housing for a diverse population with low to modest income. All our communities are situated within various neighbourhoods of Nepean. We offer market and rent geared-to-income (RGI) housing.


As a non-profit operation, Nepean Housing relies on government funding and strategic partnerships to provide and maintain a quality and effective offering to its residents and the community. With a management board of ten and employing 13 full-time staff, Nepean Housing and its residents take pride in its growth to over 500 rental units which are built on the premise of promoting strong, healthy, sustainable communities through leadership, corporate excellence, and community values.


NHC collaborates with the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association (ONPHA), the Housing Services Corporation (HSC), the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA), the Housing Branch of the City of Ottawa, and many other community partners to build a strong social housing sector and provide valuable input on government housing policies.
