Programs for Children & Youth
Social Rec
We are excited to announce the return of after school programs for children & youth. Social rec program is currently being offered at Dunbar Court. Next session will be offered in Barrhaven.
Programs for Adults & Seniors
Babysitting Course
This course is ideal for youth ages 11-14 who are looking to gain some knowledge and valuable skills. This course is great for youth who may be looking for their first job or even for those who will be staying home alone. This course will cover essential skills including, first aid basics, understanding a child's needs at different ages, job interviews & preparation and much more!
Course will be offered for six weeks at Draffin Court from February 9th- March 16th. Next session dates TBD.
Computer Training Course
Womens only classes currently being offered at 2 Hammill Court. This course is being provided in partnership with iSisters. The six-week program will provide women in the course with essential computer literacy skills so that they can confidently use technology.
March Break Camp
Your children will have lots of fun activities to keep them busy this March Break. We will be running an age mix program for children ages 6-12. We have limited spots for registration and can only accept a maximum of 16 children for the whole week.
Registration will be on a first come first serve basis. I will not be accepting any applications in advance to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to sign up.

Community Builders
An exciting new program for youth at Nepean Housing!
This program is ideal for youth between the ages of 13-17 who are looking for volunteer hours for high school, some early job experience or just enjoy being creative and giving back to their community.
The program will see youth collaborating to develop a new program or event for their community. They will get to decide as a group all the details of this new program. As youth progress through the program they will find that they are gaining valuable skills that will be fantastic additions to their resume.
